Do you like jokes? Bethesda is good at turning them in to games!
You've probably heard about some of the problems that have made Bethesda's newest title Fallout 76 a knee slapper among the gaming community, such as this when setting off multiple nukes, but what players have recently found will have you astonished it even made it through testing!

Fallout is notorious for its use of vaults in the game; it's where the player may initially start the game or have to travel to later on depending on what game in the series you're playing... but imagine finding a vault so legendary that you feel like you've been transported to Borderlands! However, this "vault" is more of a room. A special room.

Introducing Vault-Tech Corporation's newest creation, with collaboration from RobCo. Industries, the Fallout 76 Developer Room! That's right, vault dwellers! Come one, come all! Explore the vast technologies hidden inside this glorious yet forbidden realm of developer forgetfulness and reap your rewards!

Yes, that's correct. Bethesda has forgotten to remove the developer testing room from released copies of the game and with help of a few sneaky players we were able to get an inside look at what exactly is buried within. Take a look at the video below to see for yourselves! Oh, it's like a second Christmas!

For those that don't know what a developer room is it's essentially a space created for game developers to test out items, NPC's, specific functions of the game, and etc. Typically, they contain some type of chest which has every item created in the game. These type of rooms are normally accessible to PC players via console commands and completely inaccessible to console players, however that didn't stop a few people from finding out how to "break in" using a few illicit techniques (no, I do not know how to get in).

In addition to having every item already available to players in-game the developer room also contains a Human NPC and a special box labeled "All Scrap". What's in this box? Well, it houses all of the plans for future items to be released in-game! Pretty neat! As for the NPC, his name is Woody! Players are unsure if Bethesda plans to add interactive Human NPC's to the game yet but speculation around him is that he is used for general weapons testing... what an absolutely horrible fate.

In response to players discovering this Bethesda has begun issuing account suspensions for anyone who has entered the now restricted area of the game. Players are reporting that they have begun to receive emails notifying them of the account suspensions, and the email is as follows:

Greetings,

We would like to reach out to you concerning this Fallout 76 account. Our records indicate that a character (or characters) on this account appear to be in a corrupted and/or unusual state at this time. This form of character corruption is typically seen after a character has visited an area within the game which isn't typically accessible via normal gameplay.

In an effort to ensure the integrity of these characters and this account as a whole, we have temporarily suspended this Fallout 76 account.

Often times, this form of corruption is directly introduced while performing the unique steps necessary to gain access to on of the locations described above.

To properly address and correct this issue, your assistance is vital.

If any of the characters on this account have possibly visited one of these locations, please describe the way it was accessed in a reply to this email. That detail should provide the information necessary for us to correct any corruption issues on this side and safely release this account and return these characters back into the world.

Should we not hear back from you, this Fallout 76 account will simply remain suspended and unavailable until we hear back from you, at which time we will conduct an investigation to reach a final decision about the status of this account.

Regards,

Bethesda Customer Support
Ouch! It appears that if you get caught you might as well hand over all information to Bethesda Customer Support or your lovely Fallout 76 account goes bye-bye for good! That hasn't stopped a few players from attempting to bypass this in an effort to sell the unreleased items to players via E-Bay.

According to some people on the subreddit Market 76, a place for people to buy / sell / trade goods from Fallout 76, players are creating "mule" accounts to access the developer room and then quickly trade the newly gained items to their main accounts. This is in an attempt to avoid losing the items during an account suspension, however, mods on the subreddit have been banning players who claim to be selling the illicit items.

As of now it seems that Bethesda is more focused on releasing patches to remove any type of duplication glitch from the game but you can be assured that a fix for this will soon be brought to the surface.
