In this thread I've gathered the most up to date and useful homebrew applications for 4.88 CFW's so you can browse and add them to your CFW PS3.

Disclaimer: I nor PlayerSquared are responsible in any way, shape or form for anything that occurs from installing these applications. They're all well known & established applications so there shouldn't be any issues with them.

Control Fan Utility is an application that allows you to set the speed of the fan for your PS3 or install a payload that runs behind games and controls the fan speed to keep the temperature under a certain reading.

It's intended to work on CFW CEX/DEX 3.41, 3.55, 4.21, 4.30, 4.31, 4.40, 4.41, 4.46, 4.50, 4.53, 4.55, 4.60, 4.65, 4.66, 4.70, 4.75, 4.76, 4.78, 4.80, 4.81, 4.82, 4.83 CEX, 4.84, 4.85, 4.86, 4.87

IDPSet is an application that allows you to make CEX and DEX dumps and permanently change your console IDPS (NAND and NOR) as well as the PSID. Just run IDPSet on your CFW (with eid_root_key and valid idps.bin on the root of your USB key).

It can generate a CEX and DEX dump of the current NOR/NAND that is compatible with the REBUG switch CEX<->DEX function.

The major objective of psnpatch is to spoof the console Id and disable cfw syscalls extensions in order to make your system more "safe" to go into the psn.
(Note that MORE safe doesn't mean IT IS safe!). It also deletes the boot history execution (hiding homebrew execution).

webMAN MOD is a homebrew plugin with many features added on the original webMAN/sMAN by Deank. We would like to integrate all existing features available on the PS3 Scene like an AIO plugin, and webMAN MOD was born.
