    just used the US save and the plat auto popped. keep in mind I had the PS4 version platinumed. So it must be R* social club thing like the user above said. or a PSN thing.

    Hmmm that could be the issue. the save is from sometime in 2019 I believe. and im using the save on the newest PS5 firmware. don't have my PS4 anymore or i would check and update back here

    Just tried with a clean save. tried with and with-out the config file. tried quick saving before picking it up. and ya made sure everything else was deleted and it was the only file. bummer

    yes. although i was using another save as a base for the re region which had other saves on it if that makes sense. when i get a chance today. im going to make a fresh save of my own and test that

    tried the save via re region and it seems the trophy wont pop :( probably has to do with the fact that the config cant be re regioned. just putting this out there for anyone in the future going to try it
