Load File 1, a save just before the final boss on the hardest difficulty with the Classic inventory setting. There’s plenty of ammo and healing items in the storage box, along with all the weapons. Just defeat the final boss and finish the game, and the trophy should unlock.

I thought of this later too. I didn’t make a full save set, but the game is pretty straightforward with a guide. You can play it on Easy and just relax. I made this because I saw a lot of people didn’t unlock the trophy after playing on Hard, but not with the Classic inventory setting.

P.S. The game is awesome, so it’s a must-play. I just hope I can offer a little help to make the journey a bit easier.

I was thinking the same thing — I’ve heard that game is excellent, but I wanted to enjoy it without dealing with a really high difficulty. Thanks to RainMaker1494, now I can just focus on experiencing the story and also work toward getting the platinum.

Thanks for sharing this so generously.
However, it’s strange: I used the first save file to beat the boss and reach the ending, but the trophy didn't pop—and the same thing happened when I tried again a few times.
It’s worth noting that when I played through the game myself earlier, I was absolutely certain I was on Survival difficulty with the correct item settings, yet the trophy still didn't unlock after I finished the game; I am certain I followed all the steps correctly.

Make sure the settings and settings.bin files aren’t corrupted when you resign them.

When you copy the files to your PlayStation, check each file directly on your PlayStation to make sure they aren’t corrupted. From the outside, they may appear to be fine, but when you check them one by one, some of them could be corrupted.

If settings and settings.bin always show as corrupted, load up the game and create them manually. Go to the game settings, set the difficulty to the hardest difficulty, and set the inventory to Classic. Then save and quit.

After that, copy these files to the USB where the save is stored. When the prompt says that the same file already exists on the USB, press Cancel for all the files.

Now check the saves on the USB again. You should see the new settings files, along with the profile files and the corrupted ones.

Now copy the save from the USB to your PlayStation. It should work.

This is a common problem that happens when you play PS4 games on PS5, I think. It happened to me when I played the PS4 version of Hollow Knight on PS5

Yeah, I am also having issues. Won't pop for some reason. Any luck?

I will say for those of us who are trying to get the trophy via this save, bring just the revolver for the first phase, but other than that, just bring heals and dodge, and the boss will get in position after a minute in the following phases without doing any damage to him. I found it much easier from that approach.

Currently, still no trophy. Tried resigning again and just using the profile. No files seem corrupted.

Unfortunately, I've tried many methods but none of them worked; I'm planning to give up.
