I know this is late but i was able to get the crushing trophy without the brutal trophy popping by re-regioning this save:

Save with the game completed on Crushing difficulty. You only need to hit continue and complete the final chapter to unlock all difficulty trophies besides Brutal. This is for those who would like to unlock the Crushing trophy prior to using one of

I also did the following to ensure the trophy popped, as apparatently others were having difficulty with the save working:
Load the save, start the mission, save it again then load the save you made. Then complete the mission.
Make sure you delete your save file, profile, share profile. Trophy won't pop if you don't follow this.
