Is being fat a disease

As the great Dr House said. Being fat is not a disease. It's a symptom.

Fat IS a symptom, or at least the hunger that makes you fat. Risperidone, An Antiphyscotic medication, has a side effect of hunger. There are more I used this one because of the usage in the show.

I do realize a symptom and side effect are not the exact same, however my point stands

I have a two way opinion, because, yes it can be a disease but there are fat people that are just fat because they want to.

While yes people can be fat if they want to they do not have to be, however ever there are people who are fat due to an eating disorder or such
