I would send it it to them their current codes don't work. I might do a playthrough and send it in I've done this many times before back in the day

This works fine. You need to extract the archive and add each individual folder to a zip file, then import those in save wizard and resign them. Also, you can only use one at a time since they all seem to use the first save slot.

EDIT: Also don't have a save on your stick already, always delete and then import.
