Just tried with a clean save. tried with and with-out the config file. tried quick saving before picking it up. and ya made sure everything else was deleted and it was the only file. bummer
Hmmm that could be the issue. the save is from sometime in 2019 I believe. and im using the save on the newest PS5 firmware. don't have my PS4 anymore or i would check and update back herehey... I can't seem to unlock the toy seller trophy the collectibles are not there ... tried re-region this EU save but nothing as you cant re-region MetroExodusConfig file which is needed for the save to work .. I'm planning to do the whole game again for this trophy only .. the could've been a complete DLC save .. which I'm planning to help to do if nobody have a backup save for it
I tried the same thing and ya it won't work. no back up saves since i couldnt stomach another replay after PS5 and one og PS4 playthrough. but i would much appreciate a save if you get around to it!
let's see if any other members have a backup save somewhere or at least a game plus completed without collecting one toy .. if not i will have to start a new playthrough
yeah did everything no luck .. anyways I used the save from this Thread by Jimmy_lyz and got it to pop .. I had an issue with the save which won't appear on the USB without the config file so I had to use mine .. so all you have to do is delete all your saves then use this save US Toy seller Save[/HIDETHANKS] resign both MetroExodusConfig and MetroExodus save and hit continue in taiga use this below youtube video at 2:17 for reference collect the teddy bear and bam you got it
