I am not sure what you are having a problem with is it importing in advanced mode after using save editor or are you trying to resign a save.

Save Wizard not letting me import the save in advanced mode after editing it, it's not showing up when I go to iport it because it's only wanting to look for .zip files

In advanced mode it shouldn't be wanting a zip file. The extension of import file should be the same as it was when exported. Why don't you try exporting in advanced mode then try importing that file back into advanced mode see if its a problem with sw. Also when exported save file is bigger than 32mb you can't use advanced to import
