I've been using the PCSX2 emulator on my computer with PS2 ISOs to hack my own special game saves for myself and other people to use so they can have the best experience and easily unlock trophies. So far I've hacked PS2 saves and converted them to work on PS4 for games like GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, Bully, and Jak X. I've just recently modified a save for Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (2002), the original PS2 version which Sony re-released again in 2024. The game save isn't too special in the sense that it instantly unlocks platinum but its very rare given the fact that no PS2 saves can be hacked with Save Wizard and only a jailbroken PS4 can do the magic.
The content of the save for Sly Raccoon is basically you starting with 9999 lives so you will never see the "game over" screen. You have pretty much all movies unlocked but commercials and outtakes are still locked and I couldn't do anything about that. Lastly, you will have 6 sprints done for Tide of Terror but I'm unsure if you actually unlock the trophy by doing 4 more sprints from others levels but feel free to comment if you do manage to unlock the Speedius Thievius trophy. Screenshots have been provided from my PS5.
I MUST emphasize that trophies will not unlock with this save unless you load the game with the save file first, then you need to press the options button or pause button on your DualShock 4 or DualSense controller on the far right. A screen will appear with a load & save option and you must save state almost like you do with PCSX2. After you save, quit the game and delete the memory card file in your PS4 saves section and then go back into the game.
Once you are back in the game simply start a new save on a memory card when the game asks you to and then press options button and simply load the save state you made earlier before you deleted the memory card. You should be able to unlock trophies now and your first trophy will be Get a Clue where you need to pick up 5 clue bottles.
