Request Pathfinder WOTR

you need to export your save in advanced mode
i made this to unpack ps4 save so it works with pc editor then when you finished there a rebuilder so you can import save back into advance mode
pathfinderwotr-unpackrebuilder
to use use the unpack.bat file then compress.bat file. you then open pc save editor and open the file the compress.bat made. you edit your save with save editor then save. now you use the uncompress.bat and rebuilder.bat and import the file they made back into advanced mode
here is the pc editor

You download the programe I made and the PC save editor. You then with sw app open save in advanced mode. You export the save. You unzip the programme I made. There are bat files in it that convert save to PC save so you can use with PC save editor and bat file that will convert save from PC save to ps4 save you can import back into advanced mode. Also when save becomes bigger than 32mb you can no longer edit save in advanced mode.

Hi there! 😁
Thank you for the great work of yours, creating this editor.
Everything works perfectly.
The only problem I had was that when I tried to import the save through advanced mode, I took a message that the file is out of size limits.
I know you mentioned that the file has to be less than 32mb, but later I noticed that the exported file, in the beginning, the unedited one, was already more than 32mb and I couldn't even import itself without editing it. ( 41,6mb!!! LOL )
Can you please help me?
How can I reduce the save's size?
Should I get rid of items, armies, companions (ingame) and then create another smaller savefile that will be able to be edited?
Thank you in advance. 😁

The problem with saves is before sw decrypts save its a bunch of files sw combines them into 1 file theses files include level maps and pictures. The only things you can do is create quick codes based on what you learn from advanced mode or use a jb ps4 export and import saves.

Unfortunately I haven't jb my console, and as about the advance mode of this specific game, is too hard for me to find a way to change values of character's stats.
I tried but couldn' t find what I was looking for.
It doesn't matter. 😁
Maybe I 'll try more.
Thank you a lot for your immediate reply.
Have a nice day 😁😁😁

Hey Pj1980, I'm trying to edit my pathfinder WOTC with your software and the Save editor from Nexus, but I'm running into a problem. After unpacking my save and then compressing it as instructed, In the zip file it creates called "Converted" There is only one file "header.json" in it. Don't know if thats normal since in the README file you state files "party.json and header" need to be in there too. And when I try to open it in the save editor, it says in the editor "An error has occured. This aplication may no longer respond until reloaded".

I simply can't get the save editor to read the file after unpacking and compresing it as instructed. My save is right at the beginning of the game so the file isn't big. do I need to progress a bit further to have a party with more charactes for the save to be recognized? Any feedback would be appreciated to find out what I'm doing wrong.

Also, I understand this post is like a year old. And I appreciate you creating this software to make this possible. Hopefully I can get it to work.

i have simplified program so you just drop the save onto the bat without renaming it so it creates the zks file for save editor when you are finished editing click the uncompress and convert to ps4 bat. if your still having problem upload your save on here or in sw discord for me to look at it.

Thank you for providing an updated version of your converter. I was able to edit the save with the save editor. But once I clicked to uncompress and convert back to PS4, what next? The reason I ask is because in the folder where i put the exported save from SW, two new files show up called "Converted.zks.bck" and "Rebuilt-Save" Am I suppose to place those files somewhere? Or after editing the save and uncompressing to convert to PS4, Is the zipped save folder that I import back into save wizard already suppose to be converted with the modifications I made in the save editor?

In summary to avoid confusion, I was able to edit the save and when done I saved it in the folder, I clicked the uncompressed and convert bat. But after importing the save back through save wizard and loading up the game, the save remained unchanged. Is there a specific step I may be missing?

Rebuilt-save should be what you import. Unless the uncompress and convert to ps4 bat is not working properly you could rename converted.zks to converted.zip open it extract all files in it and dump in same folder as that bat file then run bat file or get the rebuilt bat from the the first program I made and use that. You can also check if the save editor modding save by opening both original and rebuilt and comparing them in hxd. i re did program so it cleans some things up when you use it

It worked! Thank you. And my apologies from my end for not knowing that it was the "Rebuilt save" file that was suppose to be imported into SW. I was importing the Zipped Save instead. And Thank you for simplifying your converter for me to use. Its brilliant.

Once again thank you for updating the converter and guiding me. It works perfectly. I'm gonna be busy modding over 40 starter saves I already have and probably share on the site for anyone to use with your credit.

Edit: Also, by any chance, is there a converter and save editor for Kingmaker?

Unfortunately when your exported save becomes bigger than 32mb you won't be able to use import in advanced mode. The problem is sw combines all the files the game makes when you save like maps and pictures into one file. You can still use quick codes and export the save so you can use editor convert the changes the editor makes into quick codes as long as changes don't change save size.

That's understood. But it's not an issue for me since all the saves I'm modding are at the beginning of the game. I'm simply editing all the stats (strength,Dex, etc) and the skills (Athelitcs, Stealth, Perception etc) in the game which isn't possible to edit through SW. And will even test out what else I can edit without going over 32mb. Everything works fine for what I'm gonna do with it.

I'll be working on and uploading over 40 starter saves of different classes and alignments. And its thanks to your converter and Nexus' Save editor. And if you happen to have a converter for Kingmaker, I'll work on modifying the over 40 starter saves I already have created too to share and upload.

There stuff in the sw discord code archive https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...BDEn97HEbp4gdvBNd3GnrC4Bg5c/edit?usp=drivesdk

I never really checked with wotr but in kingmaker sometimes player.json and party.json would not always been in same order in save file that's why there bat files with A in front of them and B in front of them. If you use one type and it doesn't make a working PC save use the other type

Hmm.. Sounds like I'm gonna run into hiccups with Kingmaker's unpacker then. But I'll give it a try and see what happens.
