Hello, I'm writing this post to address a topic that I don't see anyone talking about or giving enough importance to!
It involves people sharing saves without testing or providing important details that can impact the experience of those using them, such as unlocking unwanted trophies, unlocking them out of order, or even blocking the unlocking of one or more trophies.
Unfortunately, my experience was very bad, so I decided to talk about this topic and also explain what happened to me!
Yes, this is a report, but it's also a public complaint and an exposure!
Starter Saves or Modded Saves:
There are many posts sharing saves that claim to be Starter Saves, but are actually New Game+ saves that contain game progress or even unlocked trophies.
There are also modded saves that hinder progress and trophy unlocks without any prior warning.
So what's the problem? The problem is that if the save is a Starter save, it can't contain game progression, not even automatic trophy unlocks. Otherwise, it's mandatory to contain warnings and alert details for anyone using it.
It's your responsibility to test and share the details of the save you're going to share! Otherwise, you're being dishonest and toxic, even unintentionally!
My terrible experience:
In January 2024, I downloaded Fade to Silence and went looking for a modded save that would allow me to start the game and still unlock all the trophies legitimately.
I found uncharteddk ´s post with the "perfect save":

So I downloaded this save and started the game normally. Everything was fine, the first legitimate trophy unlocked, but shortly after, another trophy unlocked that should have been one of the last.
I immediately realized it was a New Game+ save, but it was too late, the trophy had already synced with PSN!
I mentioned this issue in the post and was ignored by the author.
Today, August 11, 2025, I returned to the post and found nothing changed, no warnings, no additional information, and the worst is yet to come: the author had the audacity to set the save files to be unlocked with credits.
I've already reported the post, but I don't know if anything will change. However, I think there should be punishment for those who do this kind of thing!
Today, I had to pay $43 to unlock all the trophies with new dates to fix the issue, otherwise, my trophy profile would be compromised.
I hope this post is read and considered by the community administrators and moderators!
