Red Dead Redemption US region Platinum Save

I've tried the RDR1 Platinum saves that I can find here (mostly cross-references the same file). That file happens to be corrupt for the US version. I've re-regioned the EU version of the save to US, but those turn out corrupt as well. Even decrypting and modding a clean save with the Red Dead Save Editor creates a corrupted file. Anyone have a working US version...?
