How does it work to remove the preorder weapons from a save? Can anyone remove them or must you own the weapons to load the save and then remove the weapons from it? I'm asking because i'm just missing the trophy for finishing the game on Hard and i don't want to play the game a second time, game was good but has absolutely no replay value and doesn't even have new game plus.

Possibly. But you can remove it easily. Go to advanced mode and search for Bonus (switching to text in stead of hex) and then put over "PreOrderBonus" or "DeluxeBonus" until the next word. (so "DeluxeBonus...None" to "..............None")

I am new here but had a suggestion for those having issues with this save file due to the Pre-Order bonus. You can use Advanced Mode and look for "DLCDependency" in the text code and change and replace it with ........ and it will remove the requirement for the DLC while still allowing you to use the DLC weapons and be able to pop the trophies :) This is a bit easier than removing the line for Pre-Order Bonus / Deluxe Edition

Wait...I Didn't know that was possible, I'm going try it.

EDIT: I've tried, It didn't work. Unless i'm doing it wrong...

I just tried this with a dummy account again and confirmed it worked for me. Make sure you basically replacing each character in "DLCDependency" with a period and then apply, don't mess with anything else and you should be golden. If it doesnt work, im not sure why it works for me as I dont have the preorder dlc

Ok i'll try again right now and i'll update everyone.

EDIT: Okay i figure it out why it wasn't working, Make sure to delete your "SYSTEM DATA" or back it up because the game recognize you playing without DLC so it keep's asking for it. It work's wonderous.

I chose the "SSS" save to test and IT DOESN'T WORK.
I receive the following message:
the game cannot start because some content is disabled: SVARTAJR

ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!

it is possible to make the save work.
In the case of the SSS trophy, the link points to 2 files: autosave and save12.
Delete the save 12. Just keep the autosave.
With the SW, go to AM and look for the text mode: DLCDependency
In the hex field, replace with 00. Apply.
Put the save on PS4 and hit "continue".
Complete the chapter.
