Yeah essentially. I imagine it has something to do with when the match starts, the game has some kind of checks and balances before it starts. I mean it logs and saves literally everything already. So doesn’t really surprise me
For everyone asking about having a different starting weapons. I’ll be running some tests this weekend. No guarantees no promises. I figured out how to do it, but there’s no guarantee that it will successfully go into the match. My hope is it will go successfully into matches and preferably stay after. It’s all a long shot but I’m going to give it a whirl.
I did add in some more status effects today. Specifically some different variations of bleed, including seppuku. I also realized I neglected to add magic & holy status effects when I added all those status effects in the last update. So I added a mix of those. Along with a lightning relic in each color and some other random relics. Credit to Veno for the blood and dodging/stamina relic ideas.
Btw does the apply rot effect work for u coz it doesnt seem to work for me
Yeah I don’t think so. But it’s in the code for a reason. There has been effects in the past that showed up on a relic that didn’t work for me and now do. So more than likely it will start working in future updates or when dlc hits. Also there is other effects that are in the code that I’ve tried putting on relics that show up blank when I load them in game. Those effects more than likely will never work. What I got out of it. Is if it shows up on a relic. If it doesn’t work, it probably will in the future. So instead of me taking them all off. I left them on in case they do start working in the future, so I don’t have to put them all on again.
For all those asking about starting with different weapons. It’s not possible on PlayStation only PC. You need to be able to modify the regulation bin file which is not possible on PlayStation. As I’ve said before it will change at the Roundtable, but as soon as you join the match it resets. Our only hope is that they make it so you can either buy or change your starting weapon. Wether that’s through an update or DLC. That will certainly open doors up. But as of now, it is not possible.
I change it here and there. I had it at no credits for over a week just before. You just missed it. Sometimes I put it at 5 credits. Just depends.

Hey I appreciate the kind words. That’s why I do this. A lot of hours went into this save. I’ll probably do one more touch/clean up of the save before DLC yet. Unless a big update comes out. Definitely excited to see what I can do with DLC. Can’t wait!
I’ll probably be throwing it up for no credits again soon. So if you don’t want to spend the credits just stay tuned. But yeah I can’t wait to see what DLC brings. We already know there’s obviously going to be new characters and new bosses. Hopefully some more ways to spend murk and sovereign sigils. Maybe choose starting weapons. That would certainly open some doors up. Can’t wait tho. Couple more months!

Yes some like poison and blood may. While others like frost may not. I haven’t fully tested them all. Alot of theses effects aren’t normal relics effects or are unreleased effects. (Weapon passives, talisman effects, effects you get from killing bosses, ect). A lot work, some don’t. But from my experience so far if they show up on a relic. Chances are they will work in future updates. So instead of taking them off and having to put them on again. They are there to test and if they don’t work, hopefully work in the future. Now that have a little more free time I’ll being doing some more testing on effects like that.
In a recent update I’ve made most edited relics “normal” relics so it’s less noticeable. The modded relics of course are all boss relics because either way they will be noticeable. As with any modded save it is always highly recommended to stay offline. And if you just can’t follow that golden rule for whatever reason, play online with friends you trust or other people with the mod only.
