Does anyone still buy Physical copies?

I started to give up on physical when the discs started being non-complete versions of the games (no DLC on disc, missing major patches, etc). I mostly bought physical for "preservation" purposes, but without being able to preserve the fully patched, complete game, I began to feel like there was no point in keeping a physical collection.

Honestly with digital being a big thing now in my opinion physical has died down too much. I mean some games such as for instance WWE 2k19, if you didn't buy it digitally, that's your only option. But digital can be cheaper, I used to love getting that new game at Walmart or Gamestop and ripping the plastic off. But now i can buy three games online for 15$ and I mean come on you have to admit, you can't go wrong with cheaper especially with prices these days.

I'm a massive collector and have always purchased games in physical copies when available. However with times changing and everything leaning towards digital, cloud and physical products in general being on the decline, is there anyone who still willingly wants physical copies?
Not really. I used to be die hard I’d rather have the physical copy. But it’s changed over time. Now I prefer digital for several reasons. For one you don’t have to worry about the disc in any way. For two I like that if it’s a PS4/PS5 game I can have the game installed on both without having to worry about having the disc in or changing it out. Early access games make it very easy too. You don’t have to worry about going and getting a new game. It’s just easier all around.

I mix and match. If it's a multiplayer game like Borderlands or even Diablo, I get the digital version so I can play on both PlayStations I have, and not split-screen, so I don't have to wait for others to be done in their inventory every time they pick something up, which has now managed to become a massive pet peeve of mine. Single player game depends on what is cheapest when I go to buy.
