Award 1 credit to the thread owner when a user clicks a link within said thread. This will reward creators who choose not to use the option to hide links. To prevent people from 'farming' this, credits should only be awarded when a registered user clicks a link.

It's unfortunate that access has to be 'bought', and the link gets hidden. I appreciate you taking the time to check thoughJust messing around I noticed there's something that kinda does this already. Yeah it hides the link but you can charge x amount of credits to unlock it & if you don't have an account you can't unlock it. Here's a 1 credit example: -=Stripped Content=-

I didn't mean taking credits from other users, I just mean earn credits when a link in your thread is clicked. Similar to how you earn credits for making threads, replying to existing ones, etc. The credits don't necessarily come from anywhere, they are just given.Yeah I get what you're saying. Although if it was done your way with the link fully visible people would probably get pissed when they're charged x amount of credits for clicking a link they didn't know took credits from them or they could just copy & paste the link & bypass the credit taking completely. Keep in mind everything has to be spelt out these days in general so it's better that it's obvious & impossible to mistakenly click it if you don't want your credits taken.
