The save starts off right in the beginning of the game at your shelter. I suggest starting a save and playing the first couple of minutes until you get the “The Flats” (Discover The Flats) trophy. Then you can load this save up.
I played just a very little bit to collect the items to max them. No story was done. There’s more than enough items to get you well on your survival journey!
