This is a good point, I think what vegans are getting at isn't "meat is unethical" it's "Meat sources are unethical." or at least the not ones on hopping on the trend and are actually concerned about ethics. there are also allergies to meat, like my 9th grade biology teacher who nearly died after eating a piece of baconUnethically? No.
But to treat the animals we depend on to survive the way we do is unethical.
I haven't seen it. I would say that any specific diet would have its ups and downs. for example vegans can't eat eggs or bacon some of the tastiest breakfast foodswatched a recent netflix special with the wife about twins participating in a study where one eats and exercises based on a meat-based diet, while the other does so on a vegan one. at the end of the study it was found that the vegan had the greatest improvements across the board. though the meat based one wasn't too bad tbh. they also covered the 'unethical' and dirty side of the meat industry and i gotta say, i'm starting to lean towards vegan now. still, i won't judge anyone for sticking to the old fashioned way.
