This quirky new co-op survival game comes from the developer behind the popular series of mobile games Pocket Survivor, Pocket Survivor 2, and Pocket Survivor: Expansion. The game is considered to be a mix of things that are difficult to go together: text quest, role-playing, action combat, visual events, and the appearance of hundreds of lively character animations. More strangely, everything happens with gloomy retro-style pixel art graphics.
Pocket ZONE, therefore, has an ideal survival context with countless dangers lurking and the task of ensuring daily survival indicators. The classic role-playing system you’ve seen so far has just appeared.
So what’s interesting in Pocket ZONE? Simple goal: Survive and Rich
Without going around with a long confusing plot, Pocket ZONE opens directly with a few introductory sentences short enough for you to understand, no matter who you are incarnated, the only goal in this game is to survive and collect as many precious things as you can to become rich and safe.
To accomplish that goal, you can go anywhere in the allowed area and conduct your own survival conquest. Take a tour of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, seek the help of the legendary Wishmasters. Or you can wander around the wasteland of the Earth’s surface to feel the loneliness of the character more clearly than ever in the dangerous predicament he is facing. You can also find the artifacts, and collect the necessary weapons to prepare for survival. No matter how you like to play, you will quickly find your own interest in this strange game.
Design your own hero
Players can design their own hero appearance. There are hundreds of body parts visually displayed in an optional form right from the start for you to assemble yourself to create a different character. On the way to survival, the high-quality classic role-playing system also offers character classes with unique skills and abilities to contribute to enriching the quality of the hero.
By taking advantage of this RPG system, you will get closer to the hero levels that progress more and more through survival battles later on.
Each hero depending on the class chosen from the beginning will have its own weapon direction. Character’s gear can be upgraded according to accumulated survival trophies, and in turn, go through weapon levels from low to high: Beginner, Versed, Expert, and Master. Mastering these weapon levels will let you enjoy the highest level of each hero class.
During the game, you can also buy, sell, and exchange items with other players around the world. Through this free exchange, your ability to fight, self-defense, and wealth level increase.
Large map with many unpredictable systems
Pocket ZONE, although using only pixel graphics, achieves rare detail. In the entire place collectively known as the Zone — the main setting of the game — there are more than 10 unique small locations for players to actively explore in their journey.
Each of these places hides a survival system inspired by the Fallout and Stalker series. You will have to battle with harsh climates, aggressive environments, unpredictable enemies, and countless factors that directly affect your character’s chances of survival.
Along with dynamic elements from the environment, and enemies, Pocket ZONE also brings many random text events you don’t know in advance. You also have to deal with the game’s complex loot system, and carefully consider your options when searching to achieve the highest achievement in each level. Pocket ZONE offers more than 100 different weapons, along with helmet armor, backpacks, and various outfits. There are also anomalous items from myths to help your hero become more powerful.
