Hi, so I read it might be possible to make PC game save files into PS4 game files. Is this true?

If it is, then I would like to ask: I want to use these PS4 files created from a PC game file (this is for Sonic Frontiers, by the way) and use it for a PS5. I know that PS5 is compatible with PS4 games, and some games on PS4 can be transferred to PS5. (without the PC)

Now, is it possible for me to do the PC into PS4 save file thing and use it on the Playstation? Or do I need a PS4 and go from there?

Would these instructions I found on a website work?

Transferring saved game files from the Internet to your PS4 via USB involves a few steps. Here’s a detailed guide on how to do it:

What You'll Need:

A USB flash drive (formatted to FAT32)
Access to the saved game files (from the Internet)
Steps to Transfer Saved Game Files:

Download the Saved Game Files:
- Locate the saved game files you want to download. Ensure they are compatible with your PS4 game.
- Download the files to your computer.
Prepare the USB Drive:
- Insert your USB flash drive into your computer.
- Format the USB drive to FAT32 if it’s not already formatted:
Windows: Right-click the USB drive in File Explorer > Select "Format" > Choose "FAT32" and click "Start."
Mac: Open Disk Utility > Select the USB drive > Click "Erase" > Choose "MS-DOS (FAT)" and click "Erase."
Create the Proper Folder Structure:
- On the USB drive, create a folder named PS4.
- Inside the PS4 folder, create another folder named SAVEDATA.
- Place the downloaded saved game files (which should be in a specific format, usually a folder containing files) into the SAVEDATA folder.
The structure should look like this:

USB Drive
└── PS4
└── SAVEDATA
└── [Your Game's Save Data Folder]
Insert the USB Drive into Your PS4:
- Safely eject the USB drive from your computer and insert it into one of the USB ports on your PS4.
Transfer the Saved Game Files:
- Turn on your PS4 and navigate to the Settings menu.
- Select Application Saved Data Management.
- Choose Saved Data on USB Storage Device.
- Select Copy to System Storage.
- You should see the saved game files listed. Select the ones you want to copy and confirm the transfer.
Launch the Game:
- Once the transfer is complete, you can launch the game to access the saved data.

this is the saving process only for the PS4 saves, not for the PC

unfortunately it only works with a save editor so that you can use PC saves on the PS4 (but so far only certain games)
