Interesting. I tried last night but nothing popped. Was this because the full game wasn't installed? - just the play now section was done
Yes, you need the whole game installed. It was a bit of a faff if I recall. Had to load the save, let it upload to their servers, open the PS5 version, same again, then back to PS4. Or something along those lines. definitely got me all but 1 trophy on PS4 and 50% of them on PS5 though.

Did you definitely resign the save? Or reregion it to your region?
My game is already EU, but it's showing two EU save files. The files don't match, and it's automatically creating another save file within the game.
Oh, I've never heard of that before. Are you sure you resigned the save to match your account name?
Oh and also, make sure you have no save files for the game except the one that's in this forum for the plat, so the game doesn't get confused.
I got an error too. When loading the game, I get an error in the loading screen saying "User profile loading failed." and if I continue (regardless of if I press retry or OK) my save gets deleted. When I eventually get to the menu I still get nothing after 10 minutes.
