does anyone know why when i try to use save editor for red dead redemtion 1 the save shows as red dead redemption 2? please someone help?

Is the save icon incorrect? Did data from the second game get mixed up with the first game's save file? I don't care about these things if it doesn't affect gameplay.

this sounds like a file header issue, maybe the save editor is reading the wrong game id or something, have you tried using a different save editor or checking the file format to see if it's actually a rdr2 save that got mislabeled
