For RE4 Remake i wanted to do something aswell, but at the end only managed to make more like a tool that do what quick codes do in less time, even though the game uses re engine, the save doesn't have all Item box slots already existing in the save (unlike RE2R save) and i'm not even good at coding to be able to change the file size without corruption. I also tried to find played time, dufficulty and round but couldn't find it so this is all i could do :D

In the video you can see that use first aid sprays and the 2 dlc weapons to keep swapping items as the game keep putting them in item box (i think it work with all weapons that you have picked up in game as long as you don't sell them), also see how i added some gem to the mask and the swapped them to other treasure/key items, for later remove the gems from the mask and be able to get them to 999

In this editor you can:

  • View all items in the save
  • Swap items¹
  • Change item's Qty in Case/Storage²
  • Change Ammo Qty³
  • Max pesetas and spinels
  • Max health
  • Edit the amount of Times Saved

  1. You can swap items with only the restriction of not trying to swap an item that is not a weapon into a weapon, i didn't find any issue doing it weapon-to-item.
To swap items in the Case you will need to be aware of the space available in your case, if there is no room for the swapped item it will dissappear.
You can swap items in storage to items you can't normally have there like ammo, grenades etc.

  2. Quantities in Case gets reseted to in-game max, but Storage quantities can be pretty high without reseting and yes, only items in storage have the entry of "Item Amount (Storage)" working.

  3. There are 2 ammo quantities: the magazine ammo (gets reseted to in-game max), the chamber ammo which normally can be only 1 and this Chamber ammo is the one we want to increase and will not get reseted in game unless you apply a capacity upgrade to the weapon.

(The first 4 items in case are not part your normal inventory)
