Now there is a glitch which allows you to obtain the platinum trophy through a co-op session with someone who already got the platinum. Confirmed working on both PS4 & PS5 as of the latest update. It is recommended to do this sooner than later as the developers will likely catch on to this glitch and patch it. Stranded Deep is also available for FREE on PlayStation Plus Extra Catalog.

No save needed. You can do it with random players.

Seems like this glitch has been reported and the developers are now aware of it 1 week later.
For those who still want to get the platinum that way, better hurry up before they eventually patch it.
