PS5 Were You Able To Snag A Preorder?

As the title says, did any of you guys get your preorders in? I was only able to snag one in a large bundle from gamestop.

I did, I have a good relationship with GameStop and they saved a PS5 Pre Order for me. I will be concealed carrying the day I pick it up too.

Honestly, I never pick up launch day consoles. Mainly because a couple months down the line they end up releasing a new round with improvements and such over the release models so.

That's totally fair. Consoles are one of the few things I'm a huge impulse buyer on and have to snag day one haha

I was able to get one from Best buy and a back up from Gamestop in case one get's canceled. I went with digital.

I'm going to most likely cancel one of them before it ships. Usually, if it's getting canceled it will be within a week after it was placed but it is still possible to be canceled at any time.

I managed one through Sony. Because... it's Demon's Souls. Unclear if I'll need to play anything else until Demon's Souls on PS6. Or PS5 Pro.

Doing the same with Walmart, looking everyday to make sure the order is there.

I now have pending charges from Sony on my card for the peripherals I ordered (extra controller and charging stand). They're supposed to ship end of month. I've been thinking of letting my bank know in advance that the bigger charge for the console is coming, so they don't deny the charges out of paranoia, ask me to confirm it's not fraud, then ask me to place the order again which I obviously wouldn't be able to do. My bank's pretty unpredictable with this.

I usually wait for nearly a year so they can
iron out the kinks and creases from the system
