For me, I think it's having that 100% showing on my profile. It's like it gives me permission to move on to another game. I always feel obligated to go back to a game that isn't 100% even if I don't want to play the game ever again.

And that is probably why I ended up getting into sharing saves.

I’ve always liked 100% games as a kid, due ti the fact I couldn’t buy a lot growing up so if I wanted something I’d make sure to do everything and get my moneys worth. It still applies to today, but I’d also say the rewards program that gave psn money for platinums definitely helped boost my want to get them more.
