Whats your opinion on the open world & life service games?

Just as the title says, the gaming situation right now is really bad.
There a only a handful of gems that are coming out this year.

honestly, most of the new “open world” releases feel like glorified fetch quests

Live Service has been a bane to gaming industry. Open world games that don't need constant internet are good. I recommend the RPG AC games on sale: Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and even Shadows.

I thought that in my case it depends on the title, for example, Assassing Creed Valhalla bored me too many icons on the map.
