Here goes something I've been working on for a while now. My biggest project so far with 80+ saves over 300 hours of gameplay & guide writing for this sci-fi absolute masterpiece. All trophies are obtainable following this guide. Wait at least 2 hours between each save if you're looking for legit time stamps. Always select Start and not Resume. These saves are 100% free of cheats.
The ‘Launcher Profile’ is pretty much useless, it just detects your last played Mass Effect with the ‘Resume’ option to quickly load it, so don't worry about resigning it. I've uploaded it anyway, just in case, from my own experience on making saves.
Remember to always activate the Tech Armor by pressing triangle during combat to make things easier and use Unity through the weapons wheel whenever you need. You can also smash square instead of X on the majority of dialogues to skip them and save a lot of time. R3 will show you the current mission marker.
ME1 Epilogue (ME2 Legit Starter Save). Use this save if you want the best experience possible on Mass Effect 2. Level 57 Sentinel/Spacer/War Hero. Paragon path. Wrex is alive. Ashley is alive. The Rachni Queen is free. The Council was saved and Anderson has got a seat on it.
Prologue (Missing in Action). Start a fresh save and play the prologue by yourself.
Save 1 - Lazarus Research Station (Very Elusive). Go down the stairs to trigger the cutscene.
Save 2 - Normandy SR-2 (Scholar). Hit X on the console to unlock the codex entry. Reload the save and repeat it 14 more times to pop the trophy. It's definitely easier than uploading and resigning more profiles - method tested on an updated digital copy (Patch 1.03).
Save 3 - Bekenstein (Broke, Blind, and Bedlam). Open the door and take down the mini boss to complete Kasumi’s loyalty mission. You may lower the difficulty since ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1.
Save 4 - Omega - Slums District (The Professor + Scientist). Simply select [Leave] to go back to Normandy with Mordin. While aboard, go to the laboratory and select any research from the Research Terminal.
Save 5 - Omega - Archangel’s Base (The Archangel). Talk to Garrus and survive the Blue Sun attack to complete the mission. You may lower the difficulty because ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1. Also a good spot to farm most of the cumulative trophies via checkpoint reloading.
Save 6 - Lorek - Eclipse Base (Operative). Simply interact with the console to retrieve the data log and complete the mission.
Save 7 - Normandy SR-2 (Galactic Explorer). Simply visit the unexplored planet nearby.
Save 8 - Prison Ship Purgatory (The Convict). Open the door and take down Warden Kuril to complete the mission. Take the left and ignore the enemies while disabling the shields since they will spawn infinitely. Use Overload (L1) to quickly disable them. You may lower the difficulty since ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1.
Save 9 - Normandy SR-2 (The Warlord). Simply interact with the breeding pod and select ‘Open the tank’.
Save 10 - Horizon (Colony Defense). Hack and computer and survive the attack to complete the mission. Have in mind that you can equip the Collector Particle Beam through the weapon wheel. This is also the perfect spot to farm Tactician via checkpoint reloading. You may lower the difficulty since ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1.
Save 11 - Haestrom - Quarian Landing Zone (The Quarian + Power Full). Talk to Tali to complete the mission and obtain The Quarian. You can also upgrade the last tier of either Warp or Defender for Power Full.
Save 12 - Hagalaz - Shadow Broker Base (Heart of Darkness). Simply open the door and watch the cutscene.
Save 13 - Illium - Dantius Towers (The Assassin). Simply open the door and watch the cutscene.
Save 14 - Illium - Commercial Spaceport (The Justicar). Talk to Samara to complete the mission.
Save 15 - Disabled Collector Vessel (Ghost Ship). Run towards the exit to complete the mission. You can ignore the husks if you want.
Save 16 - Migrant Fleet (Treason). Simply press circle to go back to the Normandy. The trophy will pop on the loading screen.
Save 17 - Omega - Merchant District (Doppelgänger). Talk to Morinth to complete the mission.
Save 18 - Pragia - Teltin Facility (Catharsis). Talk to Jack to complete the mission.
Save 19 - Joab - Dig Site (Agent). Simply scan the Prothean Artifact to complete the mission. Reload the save and repeat it 3 or 4 more times to pop the trophy. It's definitely easier than uploading and resigning more profiles - method tested on an updated digital copy (Patch 1.03).
Save 20 - Aeia - Hugo Gernsback Crash Site (Ghost of the Father). Talk to Ronald Taylor to complete the mission. What you choose doesn't matter.
Save 21 - Tuchanka - Urdnot Ruins (Big Game Hunter + Battlemaster). Activate the Keystone and defeat the Thresher Maw and the incoming Krogans to complete the mission. You may lower the difficulty since ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1. Also a good place to farm the trophy Incineration Specialist via checkpoint reloading.
Save 22 - Tuchanka - Weyrloc Facility (The Cure). Simply press circle to go back to the Normandy.
Save 23 - Citadel - Factory District (Fade Away). Simply open the door and watch the cutscene.
Save 24 - Citadel - 800 Blocks (Cat’s in the Cradle). Follow Talid and keep updating Thane to complete the mission.
Save 25 - Zorya (Revenge! + Weapon Specialist). Open the door and choose the paragon (blue) dialogue option ‘You brought this on yourself’ to obtain Revenge!.
Then, when aboard the Normandy, go to the research terminal and buy the last Heavy Pistol Damage upgrade for Weapon Specialist. Galactic Explorer will also pop in case you still don’t have it.
Save 26 - Illium - Transport Station (The Prodigal). Take the elevator to complete the mission.
Save 27 - Aite - Atlas Station (Digital Exorcist). Take the elevator and defeat the VI boss to complete the mission. M-100 Grenade Launcher recommended. You may lower the difficulty since ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1. The beginning of the next story mission is absolutely the perfect spot to farm the trophy Incineration Specialist via checkpoint reloading if you take Mordin with you.
Save 28 - Derelict Reaper (Friend or Foe). Open the door and destroy the Reaper’s IFF core. M-100 Grenade Launcher recommended. You may lower the difficulty since ME2’s Insanity mode is way hard than ME1. The trophy will pop after the dialogue aboard the Normandy.
Save 29 - Heretic Station (A House Divided). Open the door, upload the program, kill the incoming Geth and escape from the station in time.
Save 30 - Normandy SR-2 (Paramour II + Suicide Mission). Open the Galaxy Map and use the Omega 4 Relay. Before the mission begins, Tali will come over to your cabin to satisfy your curiosity about what’s behind the mask. And satisfy other things as well. If you're following my save set since ME1, there's no need to resign the profiles from the folder ‘Paramour II PROFILES’. Suicide Mission will only pop once you get through the relay.
Auto Save - Collector Station (Mission Accomplished + Against All Odds + No One Left Behind + Insanity II). Get things done and finish what you’ve started. Use the M-100 Grenade Launcher and aim for the heart. If you're following my save set since ME1, there's no need to resign the profiles from the folder ‘Insanity II PROFILES’. No One Left Behind will pop only after the final cutscene. If these were your last trophies, then congratulations, you have achieved the platinum on ME2!
All combat cumulative trophies can be farmed via checkpoint reloading - method tested on an updated digital copy (Patch 1.03). Saves 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 21, 28, & 29 are the recommended ones.
