XCOM 2

There are 2 saves and a profile save in each of the zips below. in one save I have modded supplies, intel, alloy and elerium to max. also i have modded the available recruits stats as well.
The other save is a new game started on legendary and set to ironman mode. the characters are modded, there's a few items added and resources.
I have included the profile save as BigBroMattie as mentioned if you are starting new game without any saves you can't load saves in main menu til you do tutorial the profile save should fix this.

If people are stuck in the game where you can't start the mission. You'll need to switch items on your inventory and the Launch Mission will show up.

for anyone using this file with a fresh game, make sure to complete the Tutorial, once you finish it the screen will freeze, exit the game and start it up again. Load will be highlighted, you can load the OP's file for all the bonuses ^^

I am just so impressed with this save and appreciate you for sharing this. This starter save is excellent and hope we can get SW to support this game if that ever happens.

Would love a starter save for the War of the chosen DLC in the future. And once again, Amazing saves.

I don't have that dlc. If someone dose have the game and dlc and JB PS4 they could mod game their selves. When searching for stats they are in float resources are difficult to edit as item name is far from quantity. Also pc saves can be ported to PS4 but I couldn't do the other way around so if someone as modded pc saves I could put into a PS4 save.

Save doesn't carry over, unfortunately. WOTC is a separate way of playing the entire campaign from the very beginning. I would recommend to save scum it unless and until there are some modded saves or save sets for it, but if you do be prepared for some crashes in the PS4 version.

EDIT: Also, for those asking about difficulty, please note that hanonimo31 over at NGU once upon a time posted some saves for some of the end-game trophies from the XCom 2 base game. There is nothing from the WotC expansion. I just checked and confirmed that the files are still up. Head over there and search for the OP's name or Xcom2 and you'll find them.

But if you're skipping straight to the end-game/difficulty trophies without going through at least one full playthrough first, you have no idea what you're missing. I still consider the original Xcom (1994) to be one of the very best games ever made, and even love the first two sequels. The two reboots (I don't mean the spinoffs, the spinoffs are always terrible, whether 1990s or 2010s) met that very high bar and in many ways passed it. Reboots are usually terrible, and sequels are usually terrible. This is a sequel to a reboot that is possibly the best in the whole series.

Thanks again for the hard work! Especially with all the technical difficulties in the PS4 version, this starter save should save people a TON of headaches!

I have Xcom 2 and the DLC on PC. Been searching for War of the Chosen Starter saves to try and send you but no luck at the moment which is strange giving that it has a modding community.

Your starter save is just so damn good for a game that isn't even supported by SW. I May even think about getting a JB PS4 soon just for the DLC.

Funny enough I just bought a new HDD for a ps4 I have, I'm going to JB it. Purchase the DLC for Xcom 2 as well. Just need to learn how to do everything the OP did on file.

Awesome, same here. I'm actually trying to learn how to mod it on PC since its possible to convert the save file to PS4. Been researching and learning the ropes to modding it like OP did on a JB PS4. I had a blast playing the Vanilla Xcom 2 with the modded starter save OP provided. It would be a blast to play the DLC which is better than the main game the same way.

Xcom 2 Modded Legendary + Ironman trophy save

Here's a file I wanted to share, its my Legend + Ironman run using Pjames80's original file. You're on the final mission, and the boss is on extremely low health, just need to finish 'em off.

Trophies my save will unlock:

Sorry for this late reply. I'm having a blast at the moment. love leveling all my soldiers and playing at my pace with the starter save while progressing the story. Won't be skipping the game at all on neither difficulties. Just taking my time and having fun.

It is a bummer that the Xcom 2 vanilla save doesn't carry over to WOTC DLC. But it is awesome that a starter save like this exists thanks to Pjames80 for us to enjoy. Also, my first Xcom was enemy Within which was excellent.
